Alex's Graduation Photos

Alex's mother is a strong, smart, and kind woman! She raised a handsome and smart young gentleman.  Alex is kind and well spoken just like his beautiful mother. Congratulations to you on making it this far and may God bless you with a bright future!

Please enjoy some of my favorites from Alex's graduation session.

Tips for a Father's Day Beach Photo Shoot

Photographing children and fathers can be tricky and challenging.  I have some tips and ideas on how to make it fun and engaging for them. Tip #1: Have some fun and appropriate props for them to use.  Bring some beach toys or beach hats that fits your theme and color scheme.  Tip #2: Wardrobes should be casual.  Clothes should be simple and easy to wear.  Fathers and children will fuss if they have to dress up for the beach.  Tip #3: Don't be afraid to let them get dirty and run around.  When fathers and kids get to have fun, the photo session is more enjoyable and photos will show raw emotions.  Raw emotions are what will make your photos come alive.

Tips on kids wardrobes for a beach photo shoot

Dressing up your kids for a beach photo shoot shouldn't be a headache.  Tip #1: It should be simple and easy to wear and most importantly kid friendly to play and run around in. Tip #2: Pick one or two colors of your choice and stick with it.  All colors do not have to be exact.  Mix it up by picking one or two shades lighter or darker.  However, don't mix a soft light pink with a hot pink.  The shades should only be one or two shades lighter or darker.  Alternate colors for tops and bottoms.  Everyone does not have to wear all pink shirts and white bottoms only.  Some can wear white tops and pink bottoms.  See my photos below for samples. Tip #3: Don't be afraid to let your kids get their clothes dirty and wet.  It's the beach so they are bound to get it dirty. Some of my most complimented photos are actually the photos where kids clothes get dirty and wet.  Now I'm not talking about getting soaked and cover in sand though.  Lol!
